HookLogic Raises $14M in Series B Funding

HookLogic, a NYC-based global provider of commerce search advertising solutions, raised $14m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Intel Capital with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, which invested $9.5m in 2011 (read here), and Michael Barrett, the former CEO of AdMeld and CRO of Yahoo.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate sales and technology efforts, With the financing, to hire new people for its Manhattan headquarters, which will move to TriBeCa. and in Ann Arbor.

Led by CEO Jonathan Opdyke, HookLogic provides a commerce search advertising platform that enables marketers to influence in-market shoppers. In February 2013, the company launched the Retail Search Exchange, which enables brands to bid in real-time for top search placement across a network of major retailers marketplaces, travel agencies, and automotive sites. Advertisers include Expedia, Target, AutoTrader.com, Chrysler, Intel, Newegg and Staples.

HookLogic has offices in Ann Arbor, Atlanta, and London, UK.
