StyleSaint Raises $4.3M in Series A Financing

StyleSaint, a LA-based fashion startup, raised $4.3m in Series A financing.

Backers included General Catalyst Partners and e.Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to launch the e-commerce platform by unveiling its first apparel collection available for purchase via StyleSaint.com, to expand the brand’s global reach, grow the team, continue improving the features and functionality of the site, and enhance the user experience.

Co-founded by fashion veteran Allison Beal and technology entrepreneur and venture capitalist Brian Garrett, StyleSaint is an apparel brand which pulls design inspiration directly from the users of their innovative community and self-publishing platform to create collections of women’s apparel and accessories. Through the company’s self-publishing platform, users collect “tear sheets” of images they love from across the web and curate them into their own digital fashion magazines, which can be shared via social media channels and embedded on any website.
Each month, StyleSaint’s design team will create a new collection inspired by these magazines, as well as the users who create them. The first collection consists of eighteen individual pieces including tops, bottoms, and dresses and is sold directly on StyleSaint.com at prices ranging from $30 – $200.

Previous investors in the company include Andreessen Horowitz, CrossCut Ventures and Los Angeles angel investors.
