SiteWit Corporation, a Brooklyn, NY and Tampla, Fl.-based provider of a solution that automates search engine marketing and website engagements for Small Business, raised over $1.5m in equity funding.
Backers included Stage 1 Investors.
The company intends to use the capital to develop distribution channels with existing partners such as Yola website builder and others as well as to advance social media and small business lead generation products.
Led by Ricardo Lasa, CEO, SiteWit provides small to medium sized businesses with tools to market their websites themselves on Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and Yahoo. The company markets their tools exclusively via large hosting and software as a service partners who focus website building software and also partners who create marketplaces for the SMB market such as Yola, Endurance International, Wix, WordPress, Weebly and others.
