Dream Link Entertainment, Inc., a Tokyo, Japan-based flash animation company, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Fenox Venture Capital.
The company, which has raised a total of $5.7m to date, intends to use the capital to penetrate the North American market and establish a global presence.
Founded in 2001 and led by Ryuta Shiiki, CEO, DLE provides comprehensive business solutions for clients who require creative multimedia design, development, production, and distribution as part of their marketing strategy.
The company’s animation studio has generated over 100 original characters and 2,000 episodes delivering shows and characters for television, web, ads, social networking, games, etc. DLE is currently developing co-productions and co-ventures in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, China, and the United States. The company employs 70 people.
