Consmr Raises $565K in Seed Funding

Consmr, a NYC-based review and recommendation startup focused on everyday products, recently raised $565k in seed funding.

The round was led by Lerer Ventures.

Launched in May 2012 by by Ryan Charles, and Noah Zitsman, Consmr aims to help people share, discover, and rate everyday products. It works as a democratic platform for ratings and reviews of grocery and drugstore products (health, beauty, grocery or baby products). Consmr’s mobile app allows users to see the opinions from other people and make informed decisions and express their own opinions.
The company is located at WeWork Labs, a start-up incubator in New York City’s Soho neighborhood.
