MV Sistemas, a Recife, Brazil-based provider of core technology management systems for healthcare, has received a minority equity investment from Insight Venture Partners.
The amount of the funding was not disclosed.
The investment will help the company expand its product offering to healthcare providers, domestically and internationally, particularly in Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
Led by Paulo Magnus, Founder and President, MV offers healthcare management systems, which provide a full suite of back-office management capabilities and clinical software solutions, including HIS, EMR, RIS, LIS and PACS.
SOUL MV, the company’s flagship healthcare management product, provides comprehensive clinical and administrative functionality to networked and stand-alone health facilities including state health departments, public and private hospitals, emergency units, family care centers and health insurance carriers.
MV has more than 800 employees and is used by more than 200,000 active medical and administrative professionals across 500 healthcare institutions.
