Blue Jeans Network Raises $25M in Series C Funding

Blue Jeans Network, a Mountain View, California-based provider of interoperable video conferencing services, has raised $25m in Series C funding.

The round was led by New Enterprise Associates, with participation from Accel Partners and Norwest Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funding to expand sales, marketing, and operations to grow the business, ans to further the development of its technology.

Led by CEO Krish Ramakrishnan, Blue Jeans Network provides a cloud-based conferencing service that enables individuals and employees throughout an enterprise to interact effectively with each other, and with their customers, partners, suppliers, family, and friends. .
Customers include small and large companies such as Facebook, Gawker Media, Match.com, NYSARC, Orchard Brands, Stanford University, and the Sierra Club.
The company also announced the addition of Web Browser access to the Blue Jeans service, currently available in beta. It allows participants to connect to a Blue Jeans meeting with their Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari browser and a camera.
