PromoJam Receives $1.2M Series A Financing

PromoJam, a Los Angeles, CA-based enterprise social marketing technology platform, has received $1.2m Series A financing.

The round was led by Golden Seeds, with participation from a group of investors including Silicon Valley’s Band of Angels.

The company intends to use the capital to grow its multi-platform social marketing software, and continue to expand its sales and marketing departments.

Founded in 2008 by CEO Matt MacNaughton, PromoJam is an enterprise Social Marketing Technology Platform that provides businesses with a suite of tools to build, launch, and track social media promotions across multiple social networks (including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Foursquare and MySpace) both online and on the mobile phone.
Clients include NBCUniversal, Clear Channel Radio, Hearst Publications, HitFix, Rock The Vote, Expedia, Avon, Warner Brothers Music Group, Blackberry, Paramount Pictures, The North Face, and Rihanna.

In conjunction with the funding, Sara Weinheimer, Managing Director of Golden Seeds, will join the company’s board of directors.
