Zetta, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based provider of enterprise cloud storage services for data protection, has raised $9m in its third round of funding.
Backers include existing investors Foundation Capital and Sigma Partners.
This brings the total amount raised by the company to date to $31.5m.
Zetta intends to use the funds for sales, marketing and product development to expand its cloud backup services in the small-to-medium business (SMB) market.
Established in 2008 and led by CEO Ali Jenab, the company offers services designed to enable businesses to adopt storage-as-a-service, protecting and recovering data without expensive or risky changes to information technology environments.
