Houzz Raises $2M in Funding

Houzz, a Palo Alto, California-based photo database and community for the home design market, has raised $2m in funding.
Investors include:
Oren Zeev;
Donald Katz, Founder and CEO of Audible.com;
Gary Ginsberg, Executive Vice President of Time Warner Inc.;
Jeff Fluhr, Co-Founder of StubHub.com (and CEO until its sale to eBay);
Amos Wilnai, Founder of MMC Networks and other entrepreneurs.
Created by Silicon Valley couple Adi Tatarko and Alon Cohen in 2009, Houzz allows users to scroll through more than 60,000 full-size home decor photos, save favorite photos to their personal ideabooks, find design professionals in their area and send them ideabooks to jumpstart projects, reach design advices, tips and trends.
According to the company, over 130,000 ideabooks have been created by Houzz members to date.
