Prism Analytical Technologies, Inc., a Mt. Pleasant, MI-based air testing laboratory focused on chemical identification and analysis of air contaminants, has closed on a Series A round of financing.
The investment, whose amount remained undisclosed, was led by members from the Chicago exchange community with support from members of the Mt. Pleasant business community, including Erin Strang, President and CEO of Central Michigan University Research Corporation.
The company will use the capital for the rapid expansion of sales, marketing, customer support, and product development for its Home Air Check™, an air quality test used to determine the levels of unhealthy airborne chemicals (Volatile Organic Compounds or VOCs) in the home air.
Prism’s customers incluse Fortune 100 and 500 companies and environmental consultants across North America, South America, and Europe.
