amedo Smart Tracking Solutions GmbH, a Bochum, Germany-based developer of a new kind of technology platform based on RFID transponders, enabling the wireless positioning of minimally invasive surgical instruments, completed its second round of finance.
The investment was led by EnjoyVenture Management GmbH (through ELS Fonds), High-Tech Gründerfonds, the KfW banking group and new strategic investors.
The capital will be used to develop the RFID technology further and to establish the product systems on the market quickly.
In conjunction with the financing, Dr. Marc Böhme, an experienced sales professional from the medical technology sector, will join the management team where he will be responsible for sales and marketing.
