Orthocone Innovation Technologies AB, a Göteborg Sweden-based developer and provider of a liquid crystal technology that guarantees better performance for future displays, has raised SEK 850,000 in venture capital financing from the Chalmers Innovation Seed Fund.
The company, which aims to license its technology to the leading players within 3 years, will use the funds to increase its focus on R&D and strengthen its organization through the recruitment of technical staff.
Orthocone’s technology, based on over 20 years of research at Chalmers/MC2, makes monitors more environmentally friendly, energy efficient and easier to produce.
