Moka5 Closes $16M Series D Funding

moka5_logoMoka5, a Redwood City, CA-based provider of end-user computing solutions, closed a $16m Series D funding round.

Backers included existing investors Khosla Ventures, Highland Capital Partners, and NGEN Partners.

Formed in 2005 based on the research of Stanford and MIT PhDs, Moka5 released its first enterprise-ready product in 2010 and now counts many of the leading enterprises in the energy, legal, finance, services, and manufacturing sectors as customers. Led by Dave Robbins, CEO, the company uses centrally managed containers that ensure data security, simplified workspace management, and end-user productivity regardless of client device, location or ownership. It recently announced Project SkyNet – its container designed to manage, secure, and extend both cloud and enterprise Windows workspaces across platforms, networks, and devices.
