Apiiro, a Tel Aviv, Israel, London, UK, and New York-based provider of a Cloud-Native Application Security platform, raised $100M in Series B funding.
The round was led by General Catalyst with participation from Greylock and Kleiner Perkins.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the business.
Led by CEO Idan Plotnik, Apiiro helps security and development teams proactively fix risks before releasing to the cloud. The company has introduced a completely new approach to application security in the cloud by providing complete visibility into code bases, assessing risks from design to code to cloud and proactively fixing actual risks that attackers can exploit before releasing to the cloud. This enables Fortune 500 companies to reduce operational costs and risks at scale with seamless deployment by connecting to their source control managers via API.
