Fort Point Capital, a Boston, MA-based lower middle market private equity firm, closed its third investment fund, FPC Small Cap Fund III, LP and FPC Small Cap Fund III-A, LP (collectively, “FPC III”), at $340m. Ā
With the closing of FPC III, Fort Point Capital has raised more thanĀ $630 millionĀ since the firm’s founding in 2011.
Co-Founded by PartnersĀ BrookeĀ Ablon andĀ PaulĀ Lipson, Fort Point remains dedicated to the lower middle market with a service oriented growth-focused approach targeting companies with less thanĀ $100 millionĀ of enterprise value. The firm continues investing in partnership with management teams in business services companies with attractive fundamental attributes and strong growth potential.
Since inception, FPC has acquired 13 platforms and closed 21 add-on investments enabling its platform companies to significantly scale. The firm now has 11 team members inĀ BostonĀ to support its continued growth.
