Smitten, a Reykjavik, Iceland-based provider a dating app, raised USD10M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Makers Fund, Possible Ventures, Wonder Invest and current shareholders ByFounders, ProFounders, Tennin, and Smitten’s board member and Vivino founder Heini Zachariassen.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its team and to expand to new markets.
Founded by David Simonarson, CEO, and Asgeir Visir, Designer, and also led by CTO, Magnus Olafsson, Smitten provides a dating app which combines games, entertainment, and flirting to help users engage more seamlessly getting them into fun, quality conversations regardless of their conversation skills.
