ScriptDrop Raises Additional $15M in Series A Funding Round

ScriptDrop

ScriptDrop Inc., a Columbus, OH-based provider of a medication access healthcare IT solution, raised an additional $15m in Series A funding round.

The round, which brings their total funding to $27m since incorporation in 2017, was led by Ohio Innovation Fund, with participation from North Coast Ventures, M25 and Rev1Ventures.

The company will use the funds to expand operations and expedite new partnerships to add its growing list of partners including prominent pharmacies, such as Albertsons, Kmart, and SEG; pharmacy systems, such as PDX; courier companies, health systems, and health plans. These partnerships will ensure that a greater number of patients – many of whom may be social distancing or sheltering in place in their homes – can still access their needed medications.

Led by Amanda Epp, CEO, ScriptDrop provides a medication access healthcare IT solution connecting pharmacies, couriers, providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers and patients.

The company’s footprint has expanded access to medication across the country, especially during the onset of the pandemic. ScriptDrop’ experienced a 363% delivery volume increase from February to April 2020, and between last year at this time and this year there was a 220% increase in revenue (2019-2020).
In March of this year, the company launched its patient-initiated delivery solution to help vulnerable patients during the COVID-19 crisis.
