The Hackett Group (NASDAQ: HCKT), a Miami, FL-based generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) consultancy and strategic advisory firm, acquired Spend Matters, a Chicago, IL-based company which specializes in the procurement and supply chain solutions market intelligence sector.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will enable The Hackett Group to expand its capabilities and strengthen its position in the procurement and supply chain market intelligence sector.
Founded in 2004 and led by Carina Kuhl, who will bring her expertise in driving strategic product development and research expansion to lead the combined market intelligence practice, Spend Matters provides buyers, solution providers, consultants, and investors in procurement, finance, and supply chain with insights, analysis, and solutions to optimize their procurement processes, power technology, product marketing, and investment decisions.
