Emmi AI, a Linz, Austria based industrialtech startup, raised $17.1m in seed funding.
Backers included Speedinvest, 3VC, and Serena.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Johannes Brandstetter, Dennis Just, and Miks Mikelsons, Emmi AI provides software to model universally applicable AI-driven physics simulation models that accelerate engineering and manufacturing processes across industries – from aviation and energy to semiconductors, automotive and chemicals. Its starting point is computational fluid dynamics (CFD), but the company plans to extend to real-time adaptive simulations and multi-physics models.
