Alice, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based edtech startup, raised €4.2m in funding.
The round was led by Cherry Ventures and Y Combinator with participation from PSV Tech and angels from the US and Europe.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, its business reach, and its development efforts.
Led by Kim Rants, CEO, and Patrick Gadd, CTO, Alice is building a platform that turns course materials into personalized exam prep using AI. Students can turn uploads into tailored notes and exercises. The more people study, the smarter Alice becomes at identifying individuals’ study gaps.
Over 1,000 students have already used the system to prepare for their exams. It is currently available in 10 countries.
