UNA Watch, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based wearable tech startup, raised £200K in funding on Kickstarter.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
UNA provides accurate data for runners, cyclists, and hikers with sensors that can be upgraded over time. It uses a standard USB-C cable to charge the watch and also offers real-time GPS tracking, heart rate monitoring and post-activity insights with a minimalist UI that adapts to client needs.
Offering a custom mobile app, available for both iOS and Android, the startup allows a control over training data, insights, and watch customisation as well as giving the option to integrate UNA with other platforms such as Strava.
UNA Watch had already secured £300K in investment from SFC Capital.
