Torq, a NYC-based autonomous security operations company, acquired Revrod, an Israeli stealth AI startup.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Torq will expand its offerings.
Backed by Notable Capital, Tonic Ventures, and Nylas, Revrod has achieved traction across the AI community for its advanced Agentic AI and LLM workflow expertise. The acquisition integrates Revrod’s AI technology into Torq HyperSOC-2o. The entire engineering and R&D team is now part of Torq.
Led by CEO Ofer Smadari, Torq provides agentic AI security operations solutions empowering enterprises to detect and respond to security events at scale. Its customer base includes major multinational enterprise customers, including Abnormal Security, Armis, Check Point Security, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inditex (Zara, Bershka, and Pull & Bear), Informatica, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Siemens, Telefonica, Wiz, and ZoomInfo, as well as Fortune 100 consumer packaged goods, financial, hospitality, and sports apparel companies.
Torq HyperSOC-2o will enhance OmniAgent to coordinate and collaborate with multiple AI Agents to deliver near human-level critical analysis and precision auto-remediation.
It will include the following AI agents:
- Investigation Agent—Deep search investigations save time by uncovering hidden patterns across disparate data sources and tools, performing detailed root cause analysis, and accurately assessing threat impact to help SOC teams prioritize responses effectively.
- Case Management Agent—Delivers faster access to real-time and historical data, more accurate threat identification through analysis, intelligent re-classification of threat priority based on the latest information and historical actions taken, and streamlined decision-making by eliminating irrelevant noise.
- Runbook Agent—Enables customized autonomous orchestration of threat investigations based on institutional knowledge and applies enterprise-grade guardrails when executing containment measures for threats.
- Remediation Agent—Allows customized, organization-specific remediation actions to be taken autonomously within completely-orchestrated or human-in-the-loop configurations. This enables organizations for the first time to identify and triage threats with AI Agents, while also driving resolution KPIs (MTTRs) with agentic technology.
