Terra Security Raises $8M in Seed Funding

-

Terra Security, a NYC and Tel Aviv, Israel-based Agentic AI-native penetration testing service-as-software platform provider, raised $8M in seed funding.

The round was led by SYN Ventures and FXP Ventures with participation from Underscore VC and angel investors including former Google CISO Gerhard Eschelback and Ofer Ben-Noon and Ohad Bobrov, founders of Talon Security.

The company intends to use the funds to advance its platform, expand its AI agents’ capabilities, and grow its customer base.

Founded in 2024 by Shahar Peled, CEO, and Gal Malachi, CTO, Terra offers an agentic-AI platform for continuous web application penetration testing. Its AI agents perform thousands of tests through tailor-made attacks based on unique business context and risk profiles. When new vulnerabilities surface, its agents autonomously launch precise tests, guided by human experts.

The company is already serving multiple clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
