Tella, an Amsterdam, the Netherlands-based provider of a screen recording and video storytelling platform, raised $2.1M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Gradient, with participation from AltaIR Capital, Mento VC, Lobster Capital, The Singularity Fund, and angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded by Grant Shaddick and Michiel Westerbeek, Tella provides a product that turns quick screen recordings into professional videos used for marketing and education. With it, users can create polished demos, tutorials, presentations and online courses.

This followed a previously raised $1.4M from Y Combinator, Liquid 2, and Gradient.
