Stimuler Raises $3.75M in Pre-Series A Funding

Stimuler, a Bengaluru, India-based voice-first AI tutor for English-as-a-second-language (ESL) users, raised $3.75M in Pre-Series A funding.

The round was led by Lightspeed, SWC Global, with participation from other investors including M Venture Partners, Rebright, Force Ventures, GradCapital, and Operators Studio.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its AI capabilities, technical team, and drive growth in global markets.

Led by CEO Akshay Akash, Stimuler is a voice-first AI tutor designed to help English-as-a-second-language users improve their speaking skills. Leveraging advanced speech analysis and AI-driven learning, Stimuler is focused on how people learn and practice spoken English. It has over 4m app installs and over 45,000 paying users across Android and iOS.

The majority of its paying user base today comes from outside India, with adoption also in Latin America (LATAM) and Southeast Asia (SEA), particularly Indonesia.
