Backers included Blue Cross Life Insurance Company of Canada and Securian Canada.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the expansion of new products, including its digital offerings and health and dental coverage.
Led by CEO Andrew Ostro, PolicyMe provides a digital insurance solution suite that includes Life Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and Health & Dental Insurance. The company also offers B2B2C solutions, partnering with organizations to provide digital insurance options.
This round followed its $3.3M CAD Seed round in 2020 and its $18M CAD Series A in 2022, bringing total funding to $51M.
