Pistachio Raises $7M in Series A Funding

Pistachio, an Oslo, Norway-based provider of an AI-powered cybersecurity awareness training platform, raised $7M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Walter Ventures, with participation from Idékapital, Angel Invest, MP Pensjon, and J12 Ventures. Atanas Mukov, Partner at Walter Ventures will be joining the company’s board alongside Remo Mahler, Principal at Angel Invest.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its expansion across Europe and North America, including a new office in Valencia, which opened this month.

Founded in 2019 by Joe Jones, alongside Awais Aziz and Jaan Kitchuk, Pistachio provides an AI-powered security awareness platform designed to help organizations reduce human risk through personalized, engaging training. By leveraging AI-driven insights, it delivers dynamic, user-specific training experiences that improve retention and enhance security behaviors.

The company has customers in 16 countries.
