Overture Life Raises $20.6M; $57M in Total Funding

-

Overture Life, a Palo Alto, CA-based company which specializes in embryology lab procedures, raised $20.6M.

Bakers included Overwater Ventures, GV, and Khosla Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand fertility access by making IVF labs more reproducible, efficient, and less cost-intensive.

Led by CEO Hans Gangeskar, Overture Life integrates engineering, reproductive medicine, and regulatory-grade validation to modernize embryology lab procedures, particularly egg freezing and embryo handling, in ways that lower repeated cycles, increase throughput, and reduce the overall cost of IVF. With R&D in Spain and active U.S. operations, including a CLIA-licensed laboratory for non-invasive embryo selection, Overture unites robotics, analytics, and clinical rigor to deliver tools that clinics and patients can use. Its DaVitri platform improves reliability and consistency in IVF, giving women and families worldwide more control over their fertility timelines.

The company is also announcing its newly achieved CLIA (clinical laboratory improvement amendments) license in the United States to meet federal clinical laboratory standards for m|z, its AI-powered, non-invasive metabolomic test for embryo selection.

The round brought the total amount to $57M.
