node.energy, a Frankfurt, Germany-based software company providing green electricity services, raised €15M in Series B funding.
The round was led by DeepTech and Climate Fund (DTCF) and eCAPITAL Entrepreneurial Partners. High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bitstone Capital and BonVenture also participated.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Founded by CEO Matthias Karger, node.energy enables medium-sized companies to cover their electricity needs with direct supply contracts or so-called direct PPAs from wind farms and solar power plants. It offers PPAs, which are concluded directly with plant operators, to medium-sized companies. The software platform will also be used to manage supply processes, invoicing and the transparent provision of energy data for reporting and controlling purposes.
