HiringBranch, a Montreal, Canada-based HR tech startup, received a $2.5M in Growth financing from CIBC Innovation Banking.
The company will use the financing to expand its market reach.
Founded by Patricia Macleod and Stéphane Rivard, HiringBranch uses native AI to measure soft skills from conversations. This approach helps reduce the number of interviews needed by automating the soft skills assessment traditionally evaluated by a person in an interview.
HiringBranch serves high-volume hiring companies like Bell Canada and Infosys.
The company recently raised $5M in Series A funding in a round led by Crédit Mutuel Equity, with participation from Export Development Canada and Anges Québec.
