Collide, a Houston, TX-based provider of a GenAI platform for the energy sector, raised $5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Mercury Fund, with participation from Bryan Sheffield, Billy Quinn, David Albin, and others.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance and accelerate the development of its platform and expand its engineering and technical teams.
Led by CEO Collin McLelland, Collide is a provider of a community-driven knowledge sharing platform for the energy industry. It works as an exclusive hub where engineers, geoscientists, and field operators discuss specialized technical information. By integrating retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and advanced large language models (LLMs) with a specialized knowledge base, its AI-native platform retrieves and synthesizes data from authoritative sources to deliver insights to oil and gas professionals.
As Collide expands its generative AI portfolio, it aims to further streamline workflows across various roles in the oil and gas sector, freeing teams to focus on tasks and driving operational efficiency.
