BlueHeart Energy, an Alkmaar, The Netherlands-based startup developing heat pump technology, received an investment from Copeland.
The European Innovation Council Fund also participated.
The company intends to use the funds to drive and enable solutions that helps combat climate change and achieve net-zero emissions.
Led by CEO Michiel Hartman, BlueHeart Energy has developed and is currently bringing to market a thermos acoustic engine, named ‘’BlueHeart’’. The climate friendly system features low noise, no refrigerants and a large- and flexible operating window for residential space heating-, air-conditioning- and industrial applications.
The company has over 45 employees based in The Netherlands.
