Avathon Capital, a Chicago, IL-based private equity firm specialized in investing in lower middle-market companies in the education and workforce markets, acquired OculusIT, a Summit, NJ-based provider of MSP and outsourced IT services for education institutions across the United States, from ElevenX Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
This partnership will mark Avathon’s sixteenth platform investment.
OculusIT will continue to be led by CEO Joe Redwine.
