Artisan, a San Francisco, CA-based AI sales agent startup, raised $25m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Glade Brook Capital, with participation from Y Combinator, Day One Ventures, HubSpot Ventures, and Fellows Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by Jaspar Carmichael-Jack, founder and CEO, Sam Stallings, Co-founder, and Ming Li, CTO, Artisan develops AI-powered digital employees to automate task startung with sales.
Its flagship product, called Ava, is an AI sales agent who automates the entire outbound demand generation process. She operates alongside a sales team on the Artisan platform – which contains every software product required to do outbound sales, with no integrations required.
The company is also developing Aaron, which will manage inbound messages, and Aria, a meeting manager assistant. They will be launched by the end of this year.
The company already serves 250 companies and has reached $5m in annual recurring revenue (read more here).
