RetinaLogik, a Calgary, Alberta, Canada-based eye care company, raised $1.1M in funding.
Backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the adoption of its VR-AI-powered platform, enabling eye care professionals to perform essential tests.
RetinaLogik is advancing a device (that is ISO-13485 and MDSAP Certified as well as FDA registered) to reduce both the time required for eye exams and the cost of equipment.
The company also received Health Canada’s Class II medical device approval for its technology.
