Momentic, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI-powered software testing platform, raised $3.7M in Seed funding.

The round was led by FundersClub (FCVC), with participation from Y Combinator, General Catalyst, AI Grant, and Karman Ventures, alongside angels like Aaron Levie (Box), Kulveer Taggar (Zeus), JJ Fliegelman (WayUp), Richard Aberman (WePay), and more.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its product development efforts.

Co-founded by CEO Wei-Wei Wu and CTO Jeff An in 2023, Momentic is developing tools for software testing, streamlining regression testing, production monitoring, and UI automation. It is in use at startups like GPTZero, which migrated from Cypress when they needed to improve coverage of their dynamic and rapidly evolving product. This also includes Retool, Runway, Podium, Chegg, Quora, and a hyper-growth unicorn productivity software startup.
