FutureVault, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of AI-powered Digital Vaults for financial institutions, raised US $3M in equity funding, bringing the total raised since inception to US $31M.

Backers included Founder & Executive Chairman G Scott Paterson, CEO Daniel Kenny, existing shareholders and selected new investors.

The company intends to use the funds to:

  • Consolidate its position as a player of Client Life Management Vault™ solutions.
  • Accelerate the development of new product functionality to enahnce the enterprise/advisor/client relationship.
  • Enhance the use of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in its digital vault platform.
  • Drive further advancements in workflow automation to deliver ROI for current and prospective customers and partners.

Led by G. Scott Paterson, Founder and Executive Chairman, FutureVault provides a digital vault platform that offers a material value proposition for a wide range of stakeholders and constituents, including advisors and their clients as well as management, operations and compliance executives enabling standalone value as well as enterprise-wide value as a result of greater internal connectivity, client centric data and document intelligence and workflow efficiencies.

The company automates, aggregates, and centralizes client, advisor, and enterprise documentation (and data embedded within documentation) via bi-directional integrations and connections with other wealth tech providers. Data is extracted from documents in real time by leveraging private LLMs and OCR technology, where it is then accessible and utilized across the enterprise for various workflow and use cases, including sending critical document-data to an enterprise CRM or other data bases. Its patented collaboration paradigm optimizes outcomes with internal and external parties.
