Elevarm Raises US$4.25M in Pre-Series A Funding

-

Elevarm, a Bandung, Indonesia-based agritech company boosting farmers productivity and driving sustainable horticulture practices, raised US$4.25M in Pre-Series A funding.

The round was led by Intudo, with participation from existing investors Insignia Ventures Partners and 500 Global.

The company intends to use the funds to implement a number of strategic initiatives, namely:

  • Expand seedling varieties – offering more options to help farmers choose the best crops for their land and goals;
  • Develop new agri-inputs – creating bio-based fertilizers, pest control solutions, and other products through NextBio to enhance soil health, promote biodiversity, and increase crop resilience;
  • Launch AI-powered digital tools – providing real-time insights to optimize farming practices, automate tasks, and support smarter decision-making for both farmers and Elevarm’s field team.

Led by CEO Bayu Syerli, Elevarm specializes in horticulture production and high-quality agricultural inputs. It provides seeds, bio-based fertilizers, and environmental-friendly pest control solutions for smallholder horticulture farmers across Indonesia. Its in-house research and development (R&D) engine, NextBio, is dedicated to developing innovative and sustainable agricultural inputs to help farmers improve soil health, enhance biodiversity, and increase crop resilience. Elevarm’s seedlings are produced in advanced greenhouses and nurtured with precision and care.

The company supports 15,000+ farmers across West Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta, and collaborates with over 30 partners, including: Indonesia’s Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), IPB University, Padjadjaran University (UNPAD), Bank BJB, Amartha, Rabo Foundation, Reliance Finance, Transform (Unilever, UK FCDO, and EY), and other government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and research & development labs.
