Capim, a Sao Paulo, Brazil-based fintech startup focused on dental practices, raised $26.7m in Series A funding.
The round was co-led by QED Investors and Valor Capital, with participation from Endeavor, Saison, and Actyus as well as previous investors OneVC, Canary, and NXTP.
Founded in July 2021 by Marcelo Lutz and Roberto Biselli, who serve as co-CEOs, Capim offers BNPL solutions for dental care, enabling clinics to manage payments and improve patient access to treatments.
The company, which has raised a total of approximately $29m, intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts, launching a POS terminal, integrating payments into its SaaS system, and advancing AI-powered tools to improve clinic operations.
