SponsWatch, a Stockholm, Sweden-based AI-powered sports sponsorship analytics company, raised €1m in seed funding.
The round was led by node.vc, with participation from Venrex (early investors in Just Eat, Revolut, and Midnite). node.vc partner Mårten Skogö will join the SponsWatch board.
The company intends to use the funds to scale operations, and enhance its product offerings.
Founded in 2021 by Mauricio Torres, SponsWatch leverages AI and machine learning to provide precise sponsorship analytics across all media platforms, including TV broadcasts, social media, websites, podcasts, and web radio. It incorporates real advertising costs, net reach, audience attention spans, and engagement metrics, enabling brands, teams, leagues, and federations to maximise logo exposure, optimise sponsorship strategies, and accurately measure ROI. Current clients include top-tier Swedish football and hockey clubs, national and international federations, brands, teams and athletes.
