The company intends to use the funds to scale production of its U.S.-manufactured, energy-efficient AI chips.
Led by Mitesh Agrawal, the newly appointed CEO, Positron is building advanced inference systems that deliver performance, energy efficiency, and scalability to data centers and enterprises enabling them to unlock the full potential of their AI workloads while reducing dependency on Nvidia.
The company is already shipping products to data centers and neoclouds around the country.
Agrawal, who previously served as an executive at Lambda, joins Positron’s Co-Founders, CTO Thomas Sohmers and CSO Edward Kmett.
