Mattoboard, a Las Vegas, NV-based provider of a 3D interior design platform, raised $2M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Acrobator Ventures, with participation from Blue Capital, SoundBoard, Home Depot Ventures, and Masco.
The company intends to use the funds to expand adoptiom among designers and architects worldwide.
Founded by Guy Adam Ailion, George Hart, and Sabina Khilnani, Mattoboard provides a 3D, AI-equipped platform that eliminates the outdated physical sampling process, enabling instantaneous material and product discovery and visualization. It
- enables designers to quickly find, experience, and assemble thousands of virtual materials and products. Users can also upload photos of their own products and immediately incorporate them into 3D boards.
- captures how surfaces and textures reflect real-world light, shadow displacement, glossiness, reflections, transparency, metallicness, and textural depth.
The company already partners with leading A&D suppliers, including Behr, Formica, Jung, Karndean, Cortina, Anker, Bru Textiles, and more.
