Qsic, a Dallas, TX-based provider of an intelligent in-store audio platform, raised $25M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Hedosophia.

The company intends to use the funds for the expansion of its AI-powered in-store audio platform into new retail locations, accelerate product development, and scale its sales team.

Led by CEO Matt Elsley, Qsic is a provider of an intelligent in-store audio platform that uses data and AI to remove friction from the planning process and elevate and measure the impact of audio. It helps retailers activate their Retail Media Networks by setting up, running and commercializing their audio assets. This extends from music curation, ad production and collateral to ad sales and price evaluation.

Powering in-store audio and retail media for retailers in fuel and convenience, grocery, liquor, hospitality, fashion and specialty retail and QSRs like 7-Eleven, Coles Express and McDonald’s, Qsic currently reaches more than 100 million shoppers at the point of purchase monthly, with more than 70,000 speakers set to deploy across North America over the next year.
