Music AI, a Salt Lake City, UT-based AI-powered music and audio technology company, raised $40M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Connect Ventures and monashees, with participation from Kickstart, Samsung Next, Toba Capital, Valutia, and Pelion along with music industry professionals including Freddy Wexler, 3LAU, and Alexander23.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded by Geraldo Ramos, Eddie Hsu, and Jardson Almeida, Music AI provides the B2B Music.ai platform and the B2C Moises.ai app. With a team of over 90 collaborators across the USA, Brazil, and Europe, it provides technologies to artists, producers, record labels, agencies, technology firms, and developers.

The company’s global consumer product, Moises, has attracted over 50 million users worldwide. Its multi-platform suite of AI tools serves a broad audience, ranging from music beginners and students to musicians and producers.
