Workorb, a Toronto, Canada-based startup helping companies in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries to leverage their project data, raised an undisclosed amount in Seed funding.
The round was led by Metavallon VC and Freedom of Innovation Ventures (by Sang Kyun Cha, founder of SAP Hana).
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales and product development efforts.
Led by CEO Nick Koudas, Workorb leverages AI to transform data management for Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) firms. Its technology cleans, processes, organizes, and curates data (including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proposals, project reports, designs, and 3D Building Information Models (BIM), representing invaluable company knowledge that often goes underutilized) automatically, with zero human intervention, making it AI-ready. The company’s solution streamlines and automates the entire business development process for AEC firms, covering tasks from RFP qualification and response drafting to quality checks and draft contract review. This AI-powered platform allows firms to boost efficiency, reduce manual effort, improve proposal outcomes and pursue a larger volume of opportunities / RFQs.
