SuperAnnotate, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of enterprise software for managing and creating large-scale multimodal AI datasets, raised $36M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Socium Ventures, with participation from NVIDIA, Databricks Ventures, Lionel Messi’s Play Time Ventures, and existing investors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth as a key player in enterprise generative AI (GenAI) dataset creation, management, and orchestration.

Founded in 2019 by brothers Vahan and Tigran Petrosyan, SuperAnnotate is a provider of enterprise software for managing and creating large-scale multimodal AI datasets. The company offers a platform that allows customers to build, fine-tune, and iterate dataset creation to accelerate the development lifecycle for modern LLM and Gen AI applications.

SuperAnnotate operates globally, with offices and customers worldwide including Databricks, Canva, and Motorola Solutions.
