Kalder, a NYC-based fintech company which specializes in customer loyalty, raised $10.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Javelin Venture Partners with participation from 8VC, Human Capital, Gingerbread Capital, Emergence Capital and Formus Capital as well as angel investors including Harry Maguire of Manchester United, Shuo Wang of Deel, former FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO and Founder Gokce Guven, Kalder provides a partner rewards platform that enables brands to launch partner cashback programs directly within their app or website, allowing customers to earn rewards automatically when shopping at partner stores. This way brands reward loyalty members daily, on every purchase at participating stores and automatically receive commissions on each sale, generating new revenue while boosting customer engagement and spending within the brand.
Customers include Godiva, MILE, Heat.io, and BSC Young Boys.
Previously, the company raised $3.5M in seed funding led by 500 Startups.
