Conflux Technology, a Melbourne, Australia-based heat transfer and additive manufacturing (AM) company, raised $11M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Breakthrough Victoria, with participation from AM Ventures and Acorn Capital.

Led by Founder and CEO Michael Fuller, Conflux Technology is an additive manufacturing (AM) company pioneering thermal and fluid applications through expert engineering and production. Conflux, which began in the world of F1 engineering, transforming heat exchanger designs and performance outcomes, today is a well-established, senior-by-design team leading the advancement of AM applications. Its heat exchange technology has improved product and system performance across aerospace, motorsport, defense, industrial and energy industries.

The funding will be used to speed up the development of Conflux Production Systems (CPS) – an advanced end-to-end manufacturing solution for producing AM heat exchangers – as well as scale hiring and support customer demand across the US, Europe and Asia. CPS is a comprehensive production system that replaces traditional heat exchanger manufacturing plants, automating the production of complex AM structures to ultimately address supply chain risk, increase efficiency, and streamline operations.

In addition to the growth and expansion made possible by the latest funding, Conflux is partnering with Odys Aviation to drive development of the next generation of regional VTOL aircraft.
