Akeyless, a NYC- and Ramat Gan, Israel-based identity security company, received a strategic investment from Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) arm.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Co-founded by Oded Hareven, Shai Onn, and Refael Angel, Akeyless empowers identity security for the modern enterprise, delivering a unified Secrets & Machine Identity platform designed to prevent compromised identities and secrets. Its cloud-native SaaS platform integrates vaultless secrets management with certificate lifecycle management, next gen privileged access management (secure remote access), encryption and key management services (KMS) to manage the lifecycle of all non-human identities and secrets across all environments. 

The platform is used by Fortune 100 companies and industry leaders.
